IFA 2026: Haier Intelligent Home Understands You Before You Ask
At IFA 2026, Haier Europe presents an advanced vision of intelligent living. An interconnected ecosystem that works in the background to improve home management and expand people’s possibilities. In the “Home of Intelligent Possibilities”, Artificial Intelligence, product innovation, design and services blend naturally into everyday life, understand context and adapt to individual needs, turning small daily challenges into greater control, autonomy and empowerment.
This architecture is rooted in the “More Creation, More Possibilities” concept and a scenario-driven approach, starting from the observation of everyday situations to design solutions that reduce complexity and empower everyone to live each moment to the full. Haier places technology at the service of people’s ability to choose, create and shape more meaningful experiences in their daily lives.

FROM A CONNECTED HOME TO A HOME THAT UNDERSTANDS AND LEARNS
For Haier, the integration of AI is not simply an evolution of product functionality; it enables the shift from individual connected appliances to an intelligent home ecosystem capable of interpreting how people use their home and coordinating the way devices work together. By anticipating and managing routine decisions, it makes everyday life more seamless while keeping people firmly in control.
“Our aim is to make innovation increasingly natural and unobtrusive, allowing technology to observe, understand, learn and step in when needed, without requiring people to constantly act proactively”, says Neil Tunstall, CEO of Haier Europe. “AI creates value when it addresses real needs and turns them into practical, intuitive solutions. This is a long-term vision, underpinned by an equally tangible commitment. Over the next five years, Haier will invest around 13 billion Euros in strategic technology areas, including Artificial Intelligence, innovation and IoT. At IFA 2026, we want to show how this approach is already taking shape and how it can open new possibilities for people, both within and beyond the home.”

INTELLIGENT CREATIONS: INNOVATION THAT ADAPTS TO LIFE
At IFA 2026, Haier’s approach takes shape through solutions designed to meet real everyday needs. Artificial Intelligence is one of the main drivers of this evolution, but forms part of a broader vision of innovation that combines situational understanding, automation, precision, performance and design. The result is technology that works behind the scenes: observing what happens, interpreting real-world conditions, learning and adapting its operation, while reducing the need for users to constantly adjust settings and controls.
Across these solutions, the hOn App acts as the connective layer of the ecosystem, bringing products and services together in a single digital environment and extending the intelligence built into each appliance. By enabling people to monitor and manage their appliances remotely, coordinate activities across different areas of the home, and support Smart Energy Management by optimising energy use across connected appliances according to the availability of renewable energy, including solar production, hOn makes connected living more intuitive, accessible and efficient, while providing personalised guidance and support and helping people make better use of time and energy.
In garment care, Haier Vision 15 washing machines feature AI Vision Sense: an internal camera capable of detecting key information to enable more informed cycle management, including the size of the load, the colours of garments, foam levels, and any items forgotten or trapped in the drum. It operates alongside the AI Power Sense System, an integrated ecosystem of nine sensors that detects parameters including load weight and balance, water level and temperature, adjusting cycle settings accordingly. The same focus on care and individual needs translates into an advanced concept of flexibility: after creating a new segment in laundry with Candy MultiWash, the washing machine with three independent drums unveiled in Berlin last year, the company continues to develop this paradigm with the Haier Multi Care Collection. The range introduces a broad selection of multi-drum models, including the Multi Care Laundry Studio which combines four drums in a single architecture, allowing different washing and drying needs to be managed simultaneously. The concept therefore evolves from simply separating loads to providing complete control over garment care.

In refrigeration, Haier confirms its pioneering role in the sector with Maestro, a prototype that brings together the brand’s most advanced preservation technologies within a single architecture. Among its most emblematic innovations, AI Defrost Zone uses intelligent sensors and Haier’s proprietary technology to defrost food gently, helping prevent juice loss and preserve texture and nutritional value. The Haier Horizon Collection evolves with Hydro Hub, which combines the AI Food Care System for food recognition and storage guidance with an advanced beverage experience. For Haier, food preservation is not only a product feature, but also a tangible company’s broad commitment to tackling food waste, which translates into support for Tafel Deutschland, the major German charitable network dedicated to recovering and redistributing surplus food.

Haier sees the kitchen as a complete, connected environment in which different technologies work together to respond to different needs, habits and cooking styles. The ID Ultimate Series 6 oven uses AI Vision to recognise food, monitor its preparation and automatically stop cooking once the selected result has been achieved. Pure Flavour Steam combines 100% steam cooking with combination programmes. Completing the offer is Aura Collection, characterised by Aura Grey, a distinctive colour applied to glass surfaces through a specific treatment that creates its characteristic shade and finish while also providing anti-fingerprint properties.

In the dishwasher segment, the Haier I-Pro Shine A-70% features intelligent sensors that detect the load, soil level and temperature, analyse the contents of the tub and automatically select the most suitable and efficient cycle. Candy PureWash introduces the 4DFlexWash system, a special spray arm that adjusts the distribution and intensity of water according to the level of soil detected, delivering more flexible and targeted cleaning.

In the living space, intelligence enters the world of entertainment with UltraSense AI, the platform integrated into Haier Smart TVs that adapts picture and sound in real time to the content and ambient conditions. The range spans different screen technologies, sizes of up to 163 inches, energy ratings up to Class B and audio solutions designed to deliver outstanding viewing experiences.
The same ability to combine technology, performance and ease of use also extends to Haier’s small domestic appliances. In floorcare, the I-Pro Clean Series 5 range features the Double Roller System, which ensures fast and effective cleaning, while the Kitchen Small Domestic Appliances category introduces the I-Master Specialty Coffee Machine Series 5, which adjusts temperature, water quantity and extraction parameters for each kind of coffee, while progressively learning the user’s preferences to deliver consistently personalised results.
FROM APPLIANCES TO ROBOTICS: A VISION THAT LOOKS BEYOND
The technological expertise Haier is developing across different areas of the home finds a new frontier for experimentation in robotics. In Berlin, Artificial Intelligence, engineering and the ability to interact with the environment allow robotic systems not only to interpret context, but also to act in the physical world. Robotics and embodied intelligence thus express a journey that goes beyond the individual product, exploring new ways to place technology and innovation at the service of everyday life.
At the IFA stand, humanoid robots demonstrate how robotics can work directly with people and appliances, performing practical and complex tasks, from loading and unloading clothes to placing food in the refrigerator. Cleaning robots can also recognise and classify objects, distinguish between different types of dirt and determine the appropriate action. Companion robots open new possibilities for interaction and personalised support, accompanying people and providing voice assistance in everyday activities.

This narrative also includes the Haier Exoskeleton W3, designed to reduce physical effort through AI-powered adaptive motion assistance. Combining a lightweight carbon-fibre and titanium-alloy structure with advanced sensors and intelligent algorithms, it analyses movement intentions in real time and automatically adjusts support according to individual characteristics, needs and activities. Designed to help without limiting natural movement, the exoskeleton demonstrates how AI can enhance human capabilities across different scenarios, from everyday mobility to sport and training.
FROM LISTENING TO EXPERIENCE: AN END-TO-END APPROACH TO INNOVATION
Haier’s ability to respond to different needs stems from an approach to innovation that extends beyond the product and across the entire value chain. Innovative, integrated technologies support the company throughout a journey that begins by listening to people and observing real life, accelerates Research & Development, makes manufacturing and operations more flexible and efficient, and continues through to services and after-sales support. The same approach extends to manufacturing and the supply chain, where AI helps improve planning, quality control and operational efficiency, while integration with sustainability-focused technologies and intelligent manufacturing paves the way for increasingly efficient processes and new models of energy optimisation. The journey also continues after purchase: large language models, multimodal systems and predictive tools enable a shift towards more proactive support, capable of simplifying interactions, anticipating potential issues and providing faster responses. The hOn App acts as the digital connector of this intelligent ecosystem, bringing products, services and experiences together within a single digital environment. It enables more seamless interactions with appliances, helping people make the most of their technologies while supporting a more personalised and efficient home experience. The result is a consistent model across the entire value chain: listening, accelerating innovation and supporting people throughout their experience with the product and the brand.
