Haier Europe supports the non-profit organization “WeWorld” at Milano Marathon 2025
For the third consecutive year, Haier Europe is taking part in the Milano Relay Marathon, the prestigious event that combines athletic performance with social commitment. The company is doubling its presence compared to the previous edition, with 50 employees forming 13 relay teams. Haier Europe’s team includes colleagues from Italy, Germany, Romania, and China, further reinforcing the company’s global identity.
Haier Europe is joining the event’s Charity Program by running in support of WeWorld, a non-profit organization committed to social causes. The initiative specifically backs the “Spazi Donna” project, dedicated to preventing gender-based violence and supporting women in need. WeWorld’s Spazi Donna centers provide a safe and welcoming space for women and children affected by violence, offering psychological support, legal assistance, professional training, and creative activities to facilitate social and professional reintegration.
As one of the top fundraisers of the event, Haier Europe aims to strengthen the psychological support services offered at the two Spazi Donna centers in Milan, located in the Giambellino and Corvetto districts. The company’s commitment will help ensure these essential services are available daily, providing continuous support to those in need.

For over 50 years, WeWorld has been working in Italy and around the world to protect women, girls, and children facing extreme hardship. To tackle the pressing issue of violence against women in Italy, WeWorld has established Spazi Donna in some of the country’s most vulnerable neighborhoods, including Milan, Bologna, Rome, Pescara, Naples, and Cosenza. These centers serve as vital points of reference for women in need. In Milan, the Spazi Donna in the Giambellino and Corvetto districts provide a safe, welcoming space where women who have experienced violence or are facing difficult times can find support, guidance, and the tools to rebuild their lives.
