Haier Europe awarded four Red Dot Awards for excellence in Product Design
Haier Europe has confirmed its position as a major player on the international design scene by winning four prestigious Red Dot Awards. The awards went to two innovative Candy products – the Candy Bake 800 oven and the Candy Fresco 500 refrigerator, to the Hoover HF2 vacuum cleaner, and the Haier I-Master Series 7 small kitchen appliances line.
With over sixty years of history, the Red Dot Award is one of the most influential international awards dedicated to product design, evaluating excellence in aesthetics, functionality, and innovation. The Candy, Hoover, and Haier brands once again stand out for their ability to combine advanced technology, style, and a deep understanding of real consumer needs. The four award-winning products are born in the Milan Experience Design Center, the creative hub opened in late 2020 to merge the concepts of design, connectivity, and user experience in the development of Haier Group’s solutions. The MED is composed of a team of young talents from different nationalities, specializing in three synergistic disciplines: experience strategy, experience interaction, and product experience.

Candy Bake 800 an oven that represents the perfect fusion of Italian design, advanced technology, functionality, and energy efficiency, enriching the cooking experience while saving time and energy. Its sophisticated aesthetics are expressed through two elegant finishes – full stainless steel and full black – designed to suit different kitchen styles. Among its innovations: No-Preheat Technology, allowing immediate cooking without the need for preheating; a spacious 78-liter cavity, the largest in its category; The Full-Menu offers a 4-level cooking system that enables simultaneous multi-dish preparation without mixing odors; smart connectivity via the hOn app, which further expands usage possibilities by providing access to numerous cooking programs and personalized recipes; and an intuitive LCD interface that ensures simple and immediate interaction.
Candy Fresco 500: a refrigerator that combines refined design and advanced technology to simplify food storage and prolong freshness. The interior lighting Panorama Light and satin-finished details enhance the essential design, while smart connectivity through the hOn app optimizes temperature management and energy efficiency. With features such as Auto Set – which improves energy efficiency and saves up to 15% in energy consumption – Eco Box and Fridge Blackout Alert, it represents an innovative, convenient and eco-friendly solution, perfectly in line with the brand’s “Ready to Live” philosophy.
Hoover HF2: the cordless vacuum cleaner that reflects the brand’s commitment to innovation through design by combining high suction power, lightness and ease of use, significantly improving the daily cleaning experience. Its ergonomic and compact design, engineered to reduce weight – only 1.3 kg in handheld mode – ensures comfort and manageability. The patented Ultracompactx3™ dust compaction technology and the Anti-Twist brush ensure a simple, effective, and innovative cleaning experience.
Haier I-Master Series 7: Haier’s range of small kitchen appliances embodies elegant design and advanced technology, to integrate harmoniously into domestic spaces and deliver a highly personalized experience.
