Haier Europe appoints the new Managing Director UK & Ireland

Haier Europe today announced the appointment of Diego Perrone as the new Managing Director UK & Ireland.  

In his new role, Perrone will be responsible for expanding Haier Europe’s leadership in the UK and Irish markets and driving profitability and business growth.  

He joined Haier Europe in 2022 as Head of Cooling with accountability for product leadership and the company’s business in the refrigeration segment.  

Perrone has extensive international experience in strategy & marketing across multiple businesses, including Industrial goods, Telco & Media, combined with a deep knowledge of the white goods industry.

Diego Perrone replaces Neil Tunstall who was recently appointed as CEO of Haier Europe.    

The change is effective October 1, 2024. 

To guarantee business continuity and focus on executing Haier Europe’s ambitious business agenda in the Cooling segment, he will keep his role as Head of Cooling until a successor is appointed.    

He will report to Francesco di Valentin, Chief Business Officer, Haier Europe and will be an integral part of the Haier Europe Commercial Leadership Team.
