Haier Europe unveils “The new era of Living” at IFA Berlin 2023

With the concept “Connect to Extraordinary”, Haier Europe returns to IFA Berlin 2023 as one of the main protagonists of the trade show. IFA 2023 will take place from September 1st to 5th in Berlin, and Haier Europe will welcome journalists and guests at 3400 sqm booth in Hall 3.1.  

Today a press conference is hosted by Yannick Fierling, CEO at Haier Europe, who takes the audience through the corporate strategy and latest developments that marked the company’s growth in recent years, as well as the new products and solutions that have led Haier Europe to be the fastest growing company in Europe, overperforming the market. With a remarkable 20% growth rate year-over-year, Haier Europe has strengthened its presence across the European markets and reaffirmed its leadership in connectivity and IoT.  

At IFA 2023, with the concept of “Connect to Extraordinary”, Haier Europe showcases its innovative solutions and cutting-edge services that are shaping “The new era of Living”, where IoT innovations create a true range of smart and connected experiences to meet customers’ needs. Thanks to AI and new technologies, Haier, Hoover, and Candy products can create home environments where living ecosystems develop a platform of integrated and all-encompassing services, showing how technology can have a significant impact on the improvement of everyday life and on the environment.  

Since the acquisition of Candy Hoover Group in 2019, Haier Europe has massively invested in its product and industrial portfolio as well as in people and brand leadership and the company is now among the top players in the industry. Haier Europe ranks 4th with a market share of 8.3%1, has 7 production facilities and operates with 45 commercial branches and about 10,000 employees.

Haier Europe is targeting an energy-home-scenario by bringing a complete solution able to provide tangible benefits for consumers in monitoring and reducing energy consumptions and related costs. In this context, the company has recently launched Haier Nahui New Energy, the business unit dedicated to green energy, as Haier is expanding its ambition to become a leading player also in distributed smart energy solutions. 

Key driver of Haier Europe’s strategy is the pledge to sustainability: through the Science Based Targets Initiative, the company has committed to setting emissions reduction targets by adopting a scientific and calculated approach and pursuing digital transformation to drive efficiency and reduce environmental impacts.
