Haier Europe inaugurates hOn One Smart Home
On July 11, we officially inaugurated the “hOn One Smart Home” at our Brugherio site.
The “hOn One Smart Home” is a fully connected apartment where technology and innovation converge to unveil our vision of smart living.
During the day, several journalists and media were invited to experience the connected apartment first-hand and enjoy live cooking session, actively interacting with our smart home solutions and the hOn app.
Here, through interactive scenarios, immersive videos, and real-time interactions with the hOn app and the connected solutions from Candy, Hoover and Haier brands, it is possible to experience all the potential of the Smart Home ecosystem. Furthermore, it is possible to test new and futuristic connected scenarios developed by Haier Europe.

hOn One Smart Home concretely shows the potential of products connected to the hOn app as well as new developments in energy efficiency and savings, thanks to intelligent solutions. This reflects Haier Europe’s commitment to sustainability. The next step will be the integration of the new Smart Solar Energy Management System which will enable the creation of new ecosystems and services.

AI for a Smart Kitchen
Our solutions offer a range of features through connection with the hOn app. Connected refrigerators adjust temperature based on geolocation, manage the pantry, signal expiration dates, and control all appliances. Ovens recognize dishes and suggest cooking modes, while the hOn app recommends wine pairings. Connected hoods activate automatically and adjust suction power. The hOn app allows remote management of smart kitchen solutions, such as suggesting recipes and monitoring cooking progress. With AI support, the app sets dishwasher programs by analyzing a photo of the basket and schedules start times based on energy tariffs.
Interconnections and Savings in the Laundry Room
IoT and Artificial Intelligence have revolutionized the laundry experience. With the hOn app, you can scan symbols to select the best washing program from over 60 options, while the dryer syncs with the washing machine for optimal cycle duration. Additionally, the app provides proactive maintenance notifications and assistance services for appliance longevity. Washpass by Haier offers professional washing experience based on the monthly-subscription system and features specially designed detergents. Artificial Intelligence adjusts detergent dosage for minimal environmental impact.
360° Energy Management
hOn One Smart Home offers complete intelligent home energy management, including inverters, batteries, and solar panels, all orchestrated by the hOn app. The app syncs with various systems and appliances to maximize self-consumption and draw energy from the grid at convenient times. Haier Europe aims to meet users’ diverse needs through smart scenarios based on data monitoring and processing, ensuring environmental sustainability, savings, and comfort.
The Cradle of Proactive Wellbeing
Haier Europe’s One Smart Home envisions a future with additional intelligent devices and interconnected scenarios. For instance, connected apartment optimizes wellbeing and safety by adjusting ventilation based on the number of occupants and activities. The hOn app monitors sleep and environmental conditions for optimal comfort. Additionally, the connected mirror recommends a balanced diet and suitable clothing based on lifestyle and wardrobe contents, even suggesting new purchases through partnerships.
